Open Distro is a linux distribution. The packages listed on the website are fairly stable, I've been using them on my personal system for several years. We are working on a new release revolving around kde4, but it's still fairly unstable at the moment.

At it's core, Feather is an instant messaging client. However, Feather is also being designed as an irc replacement with torrent-style p2p file transferring capabilities. It is opensource, released under smogworks' CDL.
Skwidgy is a job distribution system. While originally designed for render farming, it can run any program you can call with command-line arguments.
